Accessibility and easier ways to use the site

You should be able to find a next step without specialist knowledge. We aim for clear instructions and controls that are easier to use.

Website content updated:

Read at your own pace

Written guides can be read without completing a form. Headings divide longer pages into sections, and a skip link leads to the main content. Short instructions and explained terms help you choose one step at a time.

Use your browser's zoom or print controls if helpful. Some wider tables scroll within their own area. There is no time limit on the benefits orienting form.

Language coverage and what still needs checking

The language selector shows available page versions. Our four written versions are English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Some older guides or tools still have fewer versions; we are completing those gaps.

WCAG 2.2 Level AA is a design target, not a certification or a claim of full conformance. Code checks do not establish that the whole site works for every user. A complete assessment with assistive technologies, real devices and people who use them remains pending.
