GetBenefits.tools is an independent editorial publication. We are not affiliated with:
- The U.S. federal government or any agency thereof (USDA-FNS, CMS, IRS, HHS, etc.)
- Any state or local government
- Any specific Medicaid Managed Care Organization (MCO), insurance company, or benefits administrator
- Any political party, advocacy organization, or lobbying group
We are an editorial project run independently by Xavier C.H. as Editor and Researcher.
Funding and affiliate relationships
GetBenefits.tools does not currently participate in any affiliate program or accept advertising. The site is funded entirely by the editor as an information resource.
If this changes in the future, we will:
- Update this page with the names of all affiliate partners or advertisers

Sources and methodology
All numerical data in our calculators and guides (income limits, federal poverty levels, tax credit amounts, benefit calculation formulas) comes from official US federal agency publications. Source URLs are documented in our internal data file and updated on a fixed verification schedule.
Primary sources include:
- USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) — SNAP, WIC, school meals
- Medicaid.gov — Medicaid, CHIP
- IRS — tax credits (EITC, CTC, ACTC, PTC)
- U.S. Department of Health and Human Services — Federal Poverty Levels
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) — consumer rights, medical debt, refund anticipation loans
